The Prettiest One Of Them All - PS Cafe Dempsey

Cafes come and go,but one has remained a crowd favourite for the longest time (well, we're talking about the average lifespan of a cafe which typically does not last beyond a year or two), yes, there is none other than PS Cafe. Opened 17 years ago as part of the Projectshop clothing store, they have withstood the test of time and has over the years, grown to a chain of 8 outlets islandwide. Having visited a few outlets, PS Cafe have never failed to impress me with the upkeep of their unblemished standard of food consistency. The only difference would have to be how each outlet is styled, but of course they stay true to the laidback, dark, sexy and chic vibe. And by far, hands down, PS Cafe Dempsey has won a place in my heart with the lush green surroundings and beautifully romantic interiors.

Talk about whetting your appetite... a full whole row of luscious cakes greet you at the entrance..

My favourite bloom

Doesn't feel like we are in our Little Red Dot does it, with this view?

Fresh ginger tea and honey, perfect to wash down what's about to come!

Ahhh, the signature Shoestring Truffle Fries @ $15.00, served with a heady scent of truffle oil

Portobello Mushroom Soup @ $14.00. More truffle oil. But no one's complaining, hehe
Love the homemade chunky slice of bread, perfect for dipping!

PS Seared Tuna Salad @ $28.00, was light, refreshing and those capers that peppered the salad gave the it that little "oomph". The light creamy wasabi vinaigrette tied the whole dish together beautifully.

How do I begin to rave about this? Had it so many times but it still tingles the tastebud everytime.
Miso Cod @ $42.00
Broiled Miso Pacific Cod Fillet with ginger, lemon and sesame dressed soba vegetable salad. Oh, that piece of honey hued vegetable right underneath the cod? That's grilled pumpkin. Oh so sweet and moist and melts in your mouth! Who said vegetables are boring!

Beef Burgundy Pie @ $29.00
Slow braised beef and mushroom in red wine and buttery mash potato, served with glazed spring vegetables.

Spicy King Prawn Aglio Olio
Grilled King Prawns, spinach and spaghetti tossed with garlic oil and chilli, fresh herbs and toasted breadcrumbs

There is always room for dessert, no?
Sticky Date Steamed Pudding @ $16.00, drowning gloriously in that waistline-expanding TOFFEE sauce,

There is a cozier area with sofa seating at the entrance, do put a request for this space if you can, there is nothing more soothing than watching the rich foliage of greens right outside as you wine and dine.
