RaRa and Reddy's Happy Treat @ Bunny and Pony

Changi Village is awakening from it's many years of being a sleepy little fishing village. There is a plethora of culinary delights tucked in almost every corner of this laidback rustic little seaside town. Aside from the gastronomic smorgasbord of local hawker fare at the infamous Changi Village Hawker Center, you can now find the likes of mouthwatering homemade cakes, artisanal ice cream, handmade pizza, good quality coffee that packs a punch, just to name a few. Well, we paid this ice cream joint a visit (after drooling over those Instagrammed shots of cotton candy and ice cream), and that definitely will not be our last visit!

Hard to miss them - located at the first shop lot of the very first block of building at the start of the road leading into Changi Village. They have outdoor seating too, perfect backdrop 'em rustic chairs and tables, to feed your social media with shots worthy enough.

Fig? We're sold!

Nutella!!!!!

A scoop each of Avocado and the Earl Grey + Fig sits precariously on a bed of dreamy cloud like cotton candy peppered with rainbow sprinkles. Happy days. The ice cream is smooth, thick and creamy, just how a good ice cream should be. Specially love the chunks of figs!

Well RaRa is a Happy Camper! Who wouldn't be with strawberry ice cream and cotton candy and rainbow sprinkles and popcorn??

Changi Village is also where people from the aviation industry head to for their daily grub. In and around the vicinity of this small town are the offices of some of the biggest players in the industry. So I guess this aptly named plane - "Changi Village" serves a small reminder of the industry that is now heartbeat of this town.

Friendly, and we have an "extra mile" story to share - we specifically came to try the dreamy cotton candy ice cream combi and saw that they had popcorn. RaRa exclaimed he wanted some popcorn, to which the sweet girl behind the counter offered to put a few popcorn on top of our cotton candy. Small thing yes, but in this day and age in the very competitive F&B industry, this was a warm gesture of going the extra mile indeed.
